Another advantage of an electric motorcycle is the absence of the usual gearbox; most electric motors have excellent starting torque and are capable of operating in a wide range of revolutions per minute.

Electric bikes with a power of up to 4 kW and a speed of up to 50 km / h are classified as mopeds by law and do not require the installation of state numbers. To manage them, you need category M rights (installed together with automobile rights). Electric motorcycles with a power of more than 4000 W are full-fledged motorcycles, they need to be registered and receive category A.
